Principal DevSecOps Engineer

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Principal DevSecOps Engineer for their National Security Practice. This role is crucial in building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure, utilizing knowledge in continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD), Cloud technologies, Container Orchestration, and Security. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and testing end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, ensuring systems are safe against security threats.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading planning and design efforts for backlog tasks
• Implementing backlog tasks (e.g., POA&M items, component upgrades, feature requests, bug fixes)
• Reviewing changes to the Volta baseline
• Ensuring successful software deployment in all environments
• Maintaining security controls with each release
• Keeping the Body of Evidence (BOE) up-to-date

Requirements:

• BS in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics with 5 years' experience as an engineering lead OR 10+ years' experience without a degree
• 5+ years applying agile methodologies to the system development life cycle
• 5+ years with Infrastructure-as-Code / Configuration-as-Code
• 5+ years with Commercial Cloud Services
• 3+ years with Kubernetes
• 2+ years with GitOps
• 2+ years with the Platform One Big Bang service
• 1+ year with assessment and accreditation of national security systems (NSS)
• 3+ years with Terraform
• 3+ years with Amazon Web Services for the DoD/IC
