Senior Java/Spring Developer

As a Java/Spring Developer at Accenture Federal Services, you'll lead the design and development of multiple applications for a large-scale Federal IT Program. You'll be responsible for developing Java/Spring-based REST APIs, working with Web 2.0 frameworks, and operating in a continuous integration environment. Your role will involve not only hands-on development but also leading teams of software developers, implementing solutions, and conducting detailed design reviews.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the design and development of Java/Spring-based REST APIs
• Working with Web 2.0 frameworks in a continuous integration environment
• Leading teams of software developers
• Implementing solutions and conducting detailed design reviews

Required qualifications:

• 8+ years of hands-on development experience, including 6+ years of Java/Spring development
• Significant experience with Java Spring framework
• 3+ years of experience with Web development technologies (JavaScript, HTML, JSP, etc.)
• 3+ years of experience in Agile Scrum methodologies
• Proficiency with Java development tools (e.g., Eclipse, JUnit, Git)

Preferred qualifications:

• 6+ years of Java development experience building enterprise applications
• 3+ years developing enterprise solutions using Java Spring framework
• Detailed understanding of database schema design/SQL
• Experience leading a team of developers for a large-scale Federal IT program
