Software Engineer 1

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Software Engineer 1 to join their team in Annapolis Junction, MD. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on critical projects for the US federal government, making the nation stronger, safer, and improving people's lives.

As a Software Engineer 1, you will be part of a 13,000+ strong team united in pursuing the limitless potential of technology and ingenuity for clients across various government sectors. Your responsibilities will include analyzing user requirements, designing and coding new software, integrating existing software, developing data queries, and assisting with test procedures.

Key responsibilities:

• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
• Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features
• Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments
• Develop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories
• Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards
• Develop or implement algorithms to meet or exceed system performance and functional standards
• Assist with developing and executing test procedures for software components

Required qualifications:

• 7+ years of software engineering experience
• Experience with Languages & Frameworks such as C#, Java, Javascript, ReactJS, NodeJS
• BS in a technical discipline or an additional 4 years software engineering experience, in lieu of a degree
• TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance
