Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects is seeking a Project Engineer to join their team in Orlando, FL. This role is integral to managing and executing major capital improvement projects at Orlando's airports. The position combines technical engineering expertise with project management skills to oversee construction documents, manage capital programs, and ensure compliance with various contract types.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing professional services and construction documents for a $5+B capital improvement plan, supporting the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (GOAA) in managing capital and operational programs at Orlando International Airport (MCO) and Orlando Executive Airport (ORL). They will provide crucial management consulting services, including construction auditing, cost reporting, financial oversight, and program management support.

Key responsibilities include reviewing construction estimates and change orders, evaluating contract costs, assessing construction schedules, and maintaining detailed documentation of all project-related communications and analyses. The role requires strong technical knowledge combined with excellent interpersonal skills to facilitate effective communication across all organizational levels.

The position demands a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, along with 5-10 years of industry experience. Requirements For Infrastructure & Capital Projects – Project Engineer, ANS

  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience working in the construction industry
  • At least 3 years spent as a Project Estimator and/or specifically preparing, negotiating, and reviewing construction change orders
