As a Cloud Operations Engineer at Acquia, you'll be at the forefront of managing and optimizing cloud infrastructure for some of the world's most ambitious brands. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies, including AWS services, Linux environments, and open-source applications like Drupal.
Key responsibilities include:
- Implementing and managing AWS cloud infrastructure
- Monitoring and optimizing cloud resources for performance, security, and cost-efficiency
- Automating cloud tasks using AWS CLI, SDKs, and tools like CloudFormation and Terraform
- Managing Linux servers and environments
- Deploying and troubleshooting applications, with a focus on Drupal and other web technologies
- Configuring and maintaining web servers like Apache and Nginx
- Implementing robust security measures across cloud and application layers
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud technologies, particularly AWS, coupled with solid Linux administration skills. You should be comfortable with scripting languages, have experience with web servers and applications, and possess a keen eye for security and performance optimization.

Responsibilities For Cloud Operations Engineer
- Implement and manage AWS cloud infrastructure
- Monitor cloud resources for performance, availability, and security
- Implement and manage cloud security measures
- Automate cloud tasks using AWS CLI, SDKs, or tools like CloudFormation and Terraform
- Optimize AWS resource usage and cost management
- Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers and environments
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control in Linux environments
- Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery operations
- Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot applications like Drupal, CDP etc.
- Configure and maintain web servers like Apache, Nginx, or similar technologies
- Implement and oversee web application security measures
- Monitor web application performance, and implement scaling and load balancing strategies
- Manage databases associated with web applications
Requirements For Cloud Operations Engineer
- Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure
- Linux system administration skills
