Responsibilities For Software Development Engineer in Test
- Work with product managers, agile product owners, architects, tech leads and engineers to ensure product quality
- Participate in technical discussions for products and test infrastructure
- Execute Quality best practices, tools, and methodologies
- Identify areas for improved testing efficiencies and automation
- Evaluate test automation strategy and approach
- Write test case code using Ruby, PHP, Java, Go
- Build and maintain test frameworks and pipelines for performance, stress, and integration tests
- Develop automated test cases for functional, unit, and integration testing
- Implement QA processes from requirements analysis to maintenance
Requirements For Software Development Engineer in Test
- 1-3 years of hands on experience in QA automation
- Experience in developing test automation for Backend applications
- Knowledge of backend API automation and framework development
- Strong knowledge of testing concepts and database concepts, OOPs concepts
- Experience with various test types including client/server, white-box, black-box
- 1-3 years programming experience in web languages
- Experience with shell and command line tools
- Experience with continuous integration and build tools
- LAMP stack experience
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes/docker/containers
