Data Engineer

Acronis, a world leader in cyber protection, is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our Performance Engineering team. In this role, you'll be responsible for designing data schemas, managing data sources, and controlling data flows across our Data Warehouse. You'll collaborate with Product Managers, Platform Engineers, and BI teams to ensure efficient data management and support business analysts with data-driven insights.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Internal Data Warehouse business model ownership
2. Data governance & Data quality
3. Data analysis

We're looking for someone with:

• Strong experience in Data Warehouse architecture, schema design, and ETL processes
• Expertise in SQL and complex query optimization
• Proficiency in Python for data manipulation, analysis, and building data pipelines
• Experience with Git for version control

Additional skills that would be a plus:

• Experience with Hadoop, Hive, or PySpark
• Familiarity with tools like Confluence and Jira
• Knowledge of machine learning frameworks such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
