Description For IT Helpdesk Engineer

Acronis, a global cyber protection company, is seeking an IT Helpdesk Engineer to join their innovative team. The role involves providing first and second-level technical support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and maintaining computer systems. You'll be responsible for managing IT-related projects, configuring new hardware and software, and ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations.

The ideal candidate brings 2-3 years of relevant experience in technical support, with strong knowledge of Windows OS, macOS, and Microsoft Office 365. You should possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities For IT Helpdesk Engineer

  • Provide 1st and 2nd level technical support to end-users
  • Diagnose and resolve technical problems remotely or in person
  • Maintain computer systems and perform regular updates
  • Manage IT-related projects and timelines
  • Configure and install new hardware and software
  • Contribute to operational control framework for compliance
  • Perform hardware repairs and diagnostics

Requirements For IT Helpdesk Engineer

  • 2-3 years experience in troubleshooting and technical support
  • Proficiency in Windows OS, macOS, and remote desktop support tools
  • Solid understanding of network protocols and security systems
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

  • Working knowledge of diagnostic utilities
