Description For Sales Engineer - Cloud Solutions

Acronis is a world leader in cyber protection, empowering people with cutting-edge technology to monitor, control, and protect critical data. We're seeking a Solutions Engineer to join our mission in creating a #CyberFit future.

As a Solutions Engineer at Acronis, you'll work closely with the Sales Team on pre and post-sales activities to drive Service Provider acquisition and growth in your assigned region. Your role involves:

  • Delivering presentations on Acronis' technology and solutions to customers and partners
  • Managing customer evaluations and proof of concept activities
  • Positioning solutions to solve customer business problems
  • Conducting hands-on demonstrations and knowledge transfer to cloud partners
  • Supporting channel and cloud partners on technical queries
  • Providing market input to various Acronis teams
  • Staying updated on major industry developments

Requirements:

  • BS in computer science, electrical engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 1+ years as a PreSales/Sales Engineer or similar customer-facing IT technical role
  • Strong presentation and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Self-motivated, customer-oriented, and enthusiastic
  • Technical knowledge in at least 2 of: IT security, Virtualization and Cloud technologies, IT storage software and computing architectures, Microsoft and Linux operating systems, SaaS and IaaS technologies
