Description For SecOps Engineer

Acronis, a global cyber protection company founded in Singapore in 2003, is seeking an experienced SecOps Engineer to join their team. This role is crucial in implementing and managing security measures to protect the organization's infrastructure. The ideal candidate will work closely with various operations and development teams to integrate security practices into daily operations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Implementing and managing security tools for infrastructure protection
  • Configuring and updating automated threat detection rules
  • Adapting protection methods to address emerging threats
  • Developing and implementing automated incident response (SOAR) scenarios
  • Creating and maintaining incident response procedures and playbooks
  • Investigating incidents, documenting findings, and performing root cause analyses
  • Automating vulnerability detection and management processes
  • Ensuring timely updates and patching of systems and applications

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Experience in securing CI/CD processes (Jenkins and Ansible preferred)
  • Strong understanding of operating system design and architecture (Windows or Linux)
  • Expertise in networking protocols and enterprise networking
  • Knowledge of applied cryptography and cryptographic protocols
  • Experience in securing Active Directory, Azure/Entra, and Linux infrastructures
  • Proficiency in coding (Python, Golang, or Powershell)
  • Familiarity with security tools like ELK, ElastAlert, and Grafana Loki

Certifications like OSCP, OSEE, CISSP, or equivalent are highly desirable. Participation in Capture the Flag (CTF) challenges is an advantage.
