Senior DevOps engineer

Acronis is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their Monitoring team. The role involves maintaining, optimizing, and scaling monitoring systems to ensure reliability and performance. Key responsibilities include reducing Prometheus resource consumption, improving monitoring stack stability, and contributing to new feature development and bug fixes. The ideal candidate will work with modern tools such as Ansible, BitBucket, Prometheus, Alertmanager, Thanos, VictoriaMetrics, Grafana, PagerDuty, Kubernetes/Docker/Helm, Jenkins, and Linux.

Key responsibilities:

• Prometheus optimization and stability
• Development and deployment of new features and bug fixes
• Adjusting monitoring tools to meet security requirements
• Participating in weekly shift rotation during business hours
• Automation and configuration management
• Improving CI/CD processes and creating automation tests
• Code and repository management
• Incident response and troubleshooting
• Documentation and knowledge sharing

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience as a DevOps/SRE engineer
• Strong Linux administration (rpm-based) and troubleshooting skills
• Expertise in automation development and configuration management (Ansible preferred)
• Understanding of Site Reliability Engineering practices
• Knowledge of CI/CD principles
• Experience with Prometheus stack
• Experience in Kubernetes/Docker/Helm
• Experience with Jenkins
• Strong communication skills for working in a global team
