Tier 3 QA Engineer

Acronis, a world leader in cyber protection, is seeking a Tier 3 QA Engineer to join their mission in creating a #CyberFit future. This role involves verifying product functionality based on customer reports, designing test scenarios, running tests, creating environments, analyzing results, and preparing defect reports for the development/product team. The position also includes participation in pre-release testing and internal user acceptance testing.

Key responsibilities include:

• Analyzing customer issues and investigating root causes
• Identifying test conditions and designing test cases
• Maintaining and designing complex test environments
• Executing test cases according to described scenarios
• Working with logs and diagnostic information
• Analyzing test results and preparing reports
• Logging and documenting bugs in Jira
• Participating in building virtual testing frameworks
• Executing exploratory testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Collaborating with R&D, Support, Product, and other departments

The ideal candidate should have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• 2+ years of experience as a QA Tester (Manual), System Administrator, or related field
• Pre-Intermediate level of English or higher
• Familiarity with virtualization systems (VMWare ESXi, MS Hyper-V, oVirt, KVM)
• Strong skills in Windows/Linux system operations
• Knowledge of various operating systems
• Experience with GUI and CLI
• Experience in testing or support of endpoint security solutions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and time-management skills

Additional valuable skills include MacOS experience, cybersecurity analyst skills, and scripting abilities (JavaScript, Python, PowerShell, etc.).
