Responsibilities For Roving Building Engineer

  • Oversee and maintain building components including HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire monitoring equipment
  • Schedule and supervise vendors
  • Monitor building systems performance
  • Create and complete common area work orders
  • Modify building control software
  • Assist in RFP preparation and bid analysis
  • Respond to homeowner complaints
  • Assist in annual budget planning
  • Obtain permits and conduct equipment inspections
  • Diagnose and repair machinery and equipment
  • Conduct monthly common area inspections
  • Maintain work order logs and inventory
  • Implement preventative maintenance program
  • Respond to emergencies
  • Maintain customer service standards

Requirements For Roving Building Engineer

  • Valid CA Driver's License & Insurance
  • Minimum of 4 years of Maintenance experience in mid or high rise commercial communities
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
  • EPA/608 Universal License
  • Weekly Fire Pump Certification
  • Hands on experience in HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Painting
  • HVAC Certification preferred
  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO) is a plus
  • Fire Life Safety Certification is a plus
