Activate Talent is seeking a Cloud Engineer for active pooling purposes. This role involves designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutions to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and security. The Cloud Engineer will collaborate closely with development and operations teams to deploy and optimize applications in the cloud environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure for high availability and performance
  • Optimizing cloud services and architectures for efficiency and security
  • Collaborating with development teams to deploy applications on cloud platforms
  • Monitoring and troubleshooting cloud-based systems, proactively resolving issues
  • Assisting in establishing best practices for cloud governance and compliance

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering or a similar role
  • Proficiency with cloud service providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Strong knowledge of cloud security principles and best practices
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively

Bonus points for certifications in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
