Join a transformative healthcare technology company as an Infrastructure Engineer, where you'll lead the development and maintenance of scalable AWS infrastructure. This remote position offers the opportunity to work from anywhere in LATAM, contributing to cutting-edge SaaS solutions that are revolutionizing the healthcare industry.

As an Infrastructure Engineer, you'll be instrumental in ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of systems supporting healthcare SaaS solutions. You'll work with a suite of AWS services, focusing on ECS and RDS, while implementing infrastructure-as-code practices using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. Your expertise in containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and security compliance will be crucial in building robust, scalable solutions.

The role demands a strong technical background with 5+ years of experience, excellent English communication skills, and a passion for healthcare technology. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Tech Leads, DevOps, and Security teams, to design and implement efficient solutions that improve patient outcomes.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 – 5:00 CST, with 2-3 hours of flexibility. This is a full-time independent contractor position that offers the perfect blend of technical challenges and meaningful impact in healthcare technology. Responsibilities For Infrastructure Engineer (AWS: ECS/RDS)

  • Architect and manage AWS services, focusing on ECS, RDS, EC2, VPC, S3, CloudWatch, and IAM
  • Develop scalable, robust, secure, and cost-efficient infrastructure
  • Collaborate with Tech Leads, DevOps, and Security teams
  • Diagnose and resolve performance challenges proactively
  • Implement infrastructure-as-code using Terraform or CloudFormation

Requirements For Infrastructure Engineer (AWS: ECS/RDS)

Kubernetes
  • C1 English level with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • 5+ Years of experience as Infrastructure Engineer or similar roles
  • Proven hands-on experience with AWS ECS, RDS, and broad suite of AWS services
  • Strong knowledge of Docker, container orchestration, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools
  • Familiarity with HIPAA/HITRUST compliance and secure system practices
  • Healthcare interest and passion for improving patient outcomes
  • Proactive problem-solving mindset
