Software Engineer - Active Pooling

Activate Talent is seeking a Software Engineer for their Active Pooling team. This role is for active pooling purposes, meaning your application will be kept on file for potential future opportunities.

As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for enhancing existing software, implementing new features, and troubleshooting issues. Your work will be crucial in maintaining the performance of the platform and ensuring exceptional service to users.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining software applications for talent acquisition
• Collaborating with UX/UI designers to implement user-friendly interfaces
• Participating in code reviews and ensuring coding standards are followed
• Working with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical solutions
• Troubleshooting and debugging applications to improve performance

The ideal candidate will have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in software development, particularly with web-based applications
• Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Java
• Experience with frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js
• Familiarity with RESTful services and APIs
• Knowledge of databases (SQL or NoSQL) and data management practices
• Strong understanding of software development principles and Agile methodologies
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
