ADAPTIT is seeking a talented Surveying Engineer to join their technical implementation team. This role focuses on gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data for infrastructure projects, particularly in fiber optic and mobile telephony sectors. The position involves conducting field surveys, preparing technical documentation, and utilizing specialized equipment and software. Responsibilities For Surveying Engineer
- Prepare AS BUILT topographic studies and technical reports for fiber optic project licensing
- Conduct field surveys using various instruments
- Prepare and maintain detailed survey documentation
- Utilize GPS, total stations, and other surveying equipment
- Analyze survey data to create topographical maps and profiles
- Design earthmoving and optical as-built plans using AutoCAD and GIS
- Supervise fiber optic projects
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers
- Ensure compliance with safety standards
- Maintain and calibrate field equipment
- Participate in site visits and meetings
- Make autopsies for mobile telephony base stations data collection
Requirements For Surveying Engineer
- A degree in Surveying Engineering, Geomatics, or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in surveying, preferably within engineering or construction sectors
- Proficiency in survey equipment and software for data collection and analysis
- Strong knowledge of land surveying methods, principles, and regulations
- Experience in AutoCAD software
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality and accuracy
- Willingness to travel to different project sites
