Backend Engineer

Addepar, a leading global technology and data company, is revolutionizing the investment management industry by managing over $6 trillion in assets across more than 45 countries. We're seeking a Backend Engineer to join our Trading Team to help build a scalable, tax-efficient trading & rebalancing platform for wealth management firms.

The role focuses on developing sophisticated rebalancing strategies across equities, mutual funds, and fixed income products, with features including restrictions, equivalents, cash management, and tax budgets. You'll be working with a tech stack including ReactJS, Java, Python, and AWS, following Agile methodologies.

As a Backend Engineer, you'll be responsible for creating RESTful APIs, designing database schemas, optimizing performance, and ensuring seamless integration with front-end systems. The ideal candidate should have 3+ years of Java backend experience, strong problem-solving abilities, and experience with cloud platforms.

The position offers a hybrid work model based in our Pune office, requiring 3 days per week in-office presence.
