As a Sales Engineer, you'll be the key consultative resource throughout the sales process, leading presentations with C-Suite executives and operational teams. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise in financial software and strong communication skills to help prospects understand the full potential of the Addepar solution.

The ideal candidate will bring 3+ years of financial services experience, with a deep understanding of investment management and modern software architecture. You'll work closely with Account Executives to demonstrate product advantages, create custom demos, and guide prospects through technical evaluations. The role offers a competitive compensation package including base salary ($122,000 - $184,000), bonus, equity, and benefits.

Responsibilities For Sales Engineer

  • Support Account Executives and prospects throughout the sales process as domain expert
  • Advise firms on technical matters to optimize and upsell services and products
  • Coordinate internal product and technical resources for prospect calls and meetings
  • Highlight differentiating benefits of Addepar vs competition
  • Support sales effort with Proof of Concepts
  • Design custom demo environments and load client data
  • Assist with Statement of Work creation and budgetary estimates
  • Complete RFPs & RFIs with Account Executives

Requirements For Sales Engineer

  • 3+ years experience in Financial Services including FinTech deployment, sales engineering, or solutions architecture
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience at SaaS companies in deployments, product, engineering, or client success
  • Knowledge of modern software architecture and database concepts
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and track numerous prospective clients
  • Ability to lead sophisticated projects and relationships
  • Willing to travel 20%+ on short notice
