Senior Data Engineer

Addepar, a leading global technology and data company, is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join their Reference Data Team within the Addepar Platform team. With over $6 trillion in assets under management and presence in 45+ countries, Addepar has established itself as a crucial player in the investment management technology space.

The role involves working with the Reference Data Team, which is responsible for managing market and security master data from third-party providers. This team is vital to Addepar's core business, enabling alignment across public and alternative investment data products. The position requires working from the Pune office in a hybrid model (3 days per week).

As a Senior Data Engineer, you'll be working with a modern technology stack including PySpark, Python, AWS, Terraform, Java, and Kubernetes. You'll be responsible for designing and implementing scalable data solutions, building data pipelines, and ensuring data quality through efficient process controls.

The ideal candidate should have 6+ years of data engineering experience, strong programming skills in languages like Python or Java, and expertise in SQL and data pipelines. Knowledge of financial concepts is helpful but not required. Experience with AWS and platforms like Databricks is highly valued.
