This role is crucial in developing and maintaining the core logic of their advertising platform, which serves over 200 million daily mobile users. The position offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies including Go, Kafka, and various modern databases, while solving complex challenges in ad tech.
The role involves building and optimizing high-performance microservices, collaborating with data scientists on ML algorithms, and managing billions of daily API events. The tech stack includes Go for backend, TypeScript React for frontend, and various databases like Druid, MySQL, and Redis.

Responsibilities For Senior Go Backend Developer
- Contribute to backend development in Go and maintain microservice architecture
- Work with event buses like Kafka and SQS/SNS for microservice communication
- Participate in peer code reviews and knowledge sharing
- Optimize queries in modern databases (Druid, MySQL, Redis)
- Support partners with data provision and API documentation
- Collaborate with Data Science team on ML algorithms optimization
- Manage billions of daily API events through Kafka and Kinesis streams
- Work in an international English-speaking team
Requirements For Senior Go Backend Developer
- 5+ years of software development experience
- 3+ years experience building web applications in Go
- Experience with key-value databases (Redis, DynamoDB)
- Proficiency in Go application profiling and optimization
- Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform), Docker, and serverless infrastructure
- Experience with high-traffic Go applications
- Willingness to relocate to Hamburg, Germany
