Computer Scientist – 1 ( Photoshop Android )

Adobe is seeking a talented and highly motivated engineer for the Photoshop Android team. As a Computer Scientist for Adobe Photoshop Android, you'll work with a passionate team of developers to add features to products strategic to Adobe's growth. You'll be involved in the entire development process, from gathering requirements and design to implementation and testing. The role requires strong Kotlin and Java programming skills, experience in Android app development, and a good understanding of architectural patterns. You'll be responsible for making the app responsive by optimizing memory and processing footprint, and eliminating crashes and ANRs. Key Responsibilities:

• Work with Product Managers and fellow engineers to define roadmap, scope, and work for releases
• Own features end-to-end, from requirements gathering to implementation and testing
• Optimize app performance and responsiveness
• Collaborate across teams and build consensus

Requirements:

• BTech or MTech in Computer Science or equivalent
• 4-6 years of hands-on software development experience
• Strong Kotlin, JetPack Compose, and Java programming skills
• Experience in Android app development and latest advancements
• Good understanding of architectural patterns
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with Agile, Lean, and Scrum methodologies
