Responsibilities For Computer Scientist 2 (Security)
- Full stack development and API utilization
- Test, implement, and support secure end-user security technologies
- Integrate tools with directories, clouds and security backends
- Engineer secure identity solutions in containers and cloud environments
- Handle incoming requests, respond to issues, solve reported problems
- Meet with teams to get security requirements, understand workflows, and devise solutions
Requirements For Computer Scientist 2 (Security)
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Engineering related field or 9-12 years in IT Security position
- Proficient in automation and testing
- In-depth understanding of Windows, Mac UNIX/Linux-based systems
- Solid understanding of machine-to-machine and application-to-machine connections using MFA, certificates, tokens
- Strong understanding of identity lifecycle, secure by design, least privileged and zero trust
- Experience in DevSecOps principles, building and supporting containerized systems
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience with cloud computing environments (AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Ansible, Jenkins, Chef, Docker, Git)
