Adobe is seeking a Data Engineer to help build the data infrastructure for their $2B+ Digital Media for Enterprise business, including Adobe's flagship Creative Cloud and Document Cloud solutions. The role involves working with the Senior Manager of Data Engineering to ingest data from various sources into a centralized data lake, create application and analytics use case specific data structures, and partner with the Business Intelligence team to create dashboard and analytic solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data transformation, ELT on large data sets, enterprise development using Linux, Bash, SQL, and Python, as well as API and REST services. This is an opportunity to work on critical insights for the Digital Media Enterprise Sales and Post-Sales teams in a fast-paced, agile development environment.
Key Responsibilities: • Architect, design, and develop fault-tolerant data infrastructure and reporting solutions • Collaborate across engineering teams in product and IT • Work with distributed platforms and systems, with deep understanding of databases • Create efficient data ingestion processes with low latency systems and data warehouses • Develop and maintain solutions, frameworks, and data pipelines for both batch and streams • Improve engineering efficiency, automate manual steps, and enhance monitoring solutions • Perform detailed analysis of business problems and technical environments for solution design
Requirements: • 5+ years of professional software and data engineering experience on customer-facing products • Strong experience with data transformation & ELT on large data sets • Strong enterprise development experience using Linux, Bash, SQL, Python • Strong experience in API, REST services & custom integrations • Ability to multi-task on different projects simultaneously • BS or MS in Computer Science or comparable experience
Preferred Skills: • Experience with Hadoop, Map/Reduce solutions & other Big Data technologies • Experience with Databricks and Snaplogic • Knowledge in Data Science, ML/AI application life-cycle • Full stack development & integrations on Linux/Unix operating systems • Experience with Amazon cloud technologies • Experience with reporting frameworks, especially Power BI
