Description For Data Engineer

Adobe is seeking a Data Engineer to join their Experience Platform team, focusing on operational intelligence. This is an exciting opportunity to work on Adobe's fastest growing business in the Experience Cloud, which manages petabytes of data to improve personalized experiences through data science and machine learning.

The role involves building scalable, performant services and tools to handle the complete customer lifecycle - from provisioning and onboarding to analyzing usage data for business insights. You'll be working with cutting-edge technologies to develop low latency, highly scalable fault tolerant systems.

As a Data Engineer, you'll collaborate across teams including business partners, architects, product managers and analysts to deliver high-quality customer-centric solutions. The role requires strong technical skills in data engineering, with experience in areas like ELT pipelines, data visualization, and machine learning operations.

Responsibilities For Data Engineer

  • Design and develop distributed services that are resilient, highly available and scalable
  • Collaborate with business partners, architects, technical leads, product management and analysts
  • Participate in software development activities including design, coding, code review, testing
  • Own feature development from inception to production rollout
  • Help evaluate innovative technologies and incorporate them into our stack

Requirements For Data Engineer

  • B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent engineering degree
  • 3+ years of software engineering experience with Scala/Java
  • Experience with data transformation & ELT pipelines
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker)
  • Experience with ML models & pipelines (Sklearn, Tensorflow, PyTorch)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
