Description For Data Scientist

As a Data Scientist on the Monetization Growth organization at Adobe, you will play a critical role in building delightful experiences driving customer success and tangible business growth. We are seeking candidates passionate about using statistical, analytical, and machine learning techniques to extract, analyze, and interpret large volumes of data, transforming it into meaningful information to drive decision-making and optimize outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills combined with the ability to work with a diverse, distributed multi-functional team. You will conduct sound statistical analysis of user revenue growth programs and A/B experiments to recognize patterns leading to actionable insights. You'll identify biases in data collection and observation, interpret results, and synthesize them for partners using visualization and storytelling techniques.

As a specialist in stitching and calibrating sparse and noisy semi-structured or unstructured data across various sources, you'll partner with experts across functions to understand customer behavior and pain-points, using insights to improve product and customer experience.

Requirements:

  • Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related field (or Bachelor's with relevant experience)
  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a Data Scientist or similar role
  • Experience with hypothesis or A/B test analyses and in-depth understanding of statistical concepts
  • Hands-on experience working with large data sets and big data platforms like Databricks, Apache Spark, or Apache Hadoop
  • Expert in at least one programming language (preferably Python) and SQL
  • Strong data storytelling and communication skills
