Engineering Manager

Adobe InDesign is the industry-leading layout and page design software for print and digital media. As an Engineering Manager at Adobe, you'll be joining a dynamic team responsible for building high performant, reliable, and scalable systems across Desktop, Web, and Cloud Services.

You'll lead a team of highly motivated engineers working on innovative technology that powers InDesign - software used to create breathtaking graphic designs with typography and imagery. Your role will involve collaborating with product management, UX, architects, and other engineering teams across Creative Cloud to create technical vision and roadmaps.

The ideal candidate brings 12+ years of software engineering experience with 3+ years in engineering management. You should have exceptional knowledge of C++ and object-oriented design, combined with strong architectural skills. Your experience should demonstrate success in leading sophisticated projects through full product delivery cycles.

Key aspects of the role include managing projects through budgeting and risk mitigation, defining best engineering practices, mentoring engineers, and providing technical leadership. You'll need to stay current with emerging technologies in AI/ML, cloud computing, and web development to influence product direction.
