Adobe is seeking a Firefly Model Architect to join their team and make a significant impact on their AI initiatives. As a Firefly Model Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing reusable and scalable training frameworks that support various deep learning models in large-scale and distributed environments. This role requires a strong background in machine learning, proficiency in Python and PyTorch, and experience with distributed training strategies.
You will work closely with ML Researchers and Machine Learning engineers to accelerate the training of cutting-edge ML models. Your responsibilities will include designing, architecting, implementing, and optimizing various components of the training framework used by numerous internal users. You'll lead projects from scoping requirements to launch, ensuring ongoing support and identifying and resolving usability, extensibility, and scalability issues specific to the framework.
The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree or above in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. You should have a solid foundation in computer science fundamentals and experience working with large and complex code bases. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential, as is the ability to think creatively about troubleshooting, debugging, and solving complex, hard-to-reproduce problems.
Adobe offers a competitive salary range of $170,900 - $325,200 annually for this position, with potential for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award. Responsibilities For Firefly Model Architect
- Design and implement reusable and scalable training framework that supports different deep learning models in large-scale and distributed environments
- Design, architect, implement, and optimize the various components of the training framework, primarily using Python, PyTorch, used by numerous internal users
- Collaborate closely with ML Researchers and Machine Learning engineers to accelerate the training of the cutting-edge ML models
- Lead projects from scoping requirements to launch, ensuring ongoing support
- Identify and resolve usability, extensibility, scalability issues specific to the framework
- Stay updated with the latest test, development, and deployment practices, and actively share knowledge with the team and community
Requirements For Firefly Model Architect
- Master's degree or above in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Strong proficiency in Python and PyTorch
- Solid foundation in computer science fundamentals
- Experience with distributed training and its common strategies
- Experience working with large and complex code bases, employing API design techniques to maintain clean and maintainable code
