Adobe is seeking a Principal Scientist for their Firefly.com team to lead front-end development initiatives. This role combines technical leadership with hands-on development, focusing on architecting and maintaining the user-facing experience for Adobe Firefly. The ideal candidate will bring 12+ years of experience in interactive web application development, with deep expertise in React, TypeScript/JavaScript, and functional programming.

Responsibilities For Firefly.com Principal Scientist
- Help establish architecture and quality coding practices for the Adobe Firefly client platform
- Define long-term solutions for component based architecture using functional programming
- Work closely with the design team, product management and internal clients translating early ideas into interactive prototypes
- Engage with customers to identify problems, A|B test solutions, and refine workflows
- Expand knowledge and skills to stay ahead of the latest development, test, and deployment methodologies
Requirements For Firefly.com Principal Scientist
- 12+ years of professional experience developing interactive web applications
- B.S or higher in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- Well established practice of building and deploying web applications using React
- High proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript (ES6+)
- Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD)
- Fluent in functional programming style
- Confidence to be an opinionated, pragmatic developer
- Ability to perform independently in a hybrid or remote first work environment
- Competent written and verbal communication skills
