As a Senior Security Development Engineer at Adobe, you will be joining a team responsible for building various Security tools and automations from the ground up. Our focus is on providing value to the organisation by emphasising real-world security and adopting automation, as well as optimising Security processes. The ideal candidate is a seasoned software developer with security mindset. They will be responsible for building security tools and automations to improve overall Security of Adobe's infrastructure and applications.
What you'll do:
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of innovative security solutions to secure Adobe's infrastructure and products.
- Define strategy and roadmap for security solutions that align with the long-term vision for the Security organization.
- Collaborate with other leaders and architects in Security to define requirements and convert architecture into solid engineering solutions.
- Evaluate third-party security software solutions and propose suggestions by carefully weighing the pros and cons.
- Write and contribute to project plans, author engineering-level documentation, and develop detailed plans for releases.
- Influence security engineering practices within and beyond the direct team and mentor junior team members.
- Work in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, agile environment.
Who You Are:
- B.Tech / M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering from a best-in-class institute.
- Over 10 years of overall design and development experience, with 5+ years in the security domain.
- Deep knowledge of Security Engineering fundamentals and the tooling lifecycle (from Proof of Concept, Design and Deployment, to maturing it).
- A deep technical understanding of multiple classes of security defects.
- Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services such as EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, CloudFormation, and Lambda.
- Knowledge and understanding of systems and/or network design principles and detailed understanding of security principles and technical architectures.
- Knowledge of authentication mechanisms like SAML, OAuth, etc.
