Senior Machine Learning Engineer (Firefly)

Adobe's Firefly Gen AI Models and services group is seeking a dedicated architect with expertise in machine learning to support the creation, improvement, and deployment of model pipelines for Adobe's top products. As a Firefly model architect, you will join an outstanding team of ML and service engineers building the future of digital experiences. You will help set long-term technical strategy and work across multiple Adobe teams to architect the pipelines of future foundation models. You will make important architecture decisions and prioritize model optimization experiments, with the opportunity to develop novel ideas that advance the creative world through features in Adobe's products, reaching millions worldwide.

The role requires deep expertise in machine learning architecture, particularly in optimizing large-scale foundation model pipelines for Generative AI. You'll be responsible for designing and developing GenAI backend services for Firefly, creating GPU-optimized, efficient model pipelines that power generative AI features across Adobe's product suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, Express, and Stock.

Key responsibilities include architecting ML pipelines, providing technical leadership, exploring emerging ML technologies, and collaborating with research teams to bring innovative ideas to production. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience (12+ years) with 3+ years in a Lead/Architect role, strong technical leadership skills, and deep expertise in Generative AI technologies including GANs, diffusion models, and transformers.
