Senior Software Quality Engineer

Adobe is looking for a Senior Software Quality Engineer to lead a highly efficient team in the International Strategy & Product Management (ISPM) team. This role is crucial in improving product quality and ensuring smooth feature introductions while considering cultural factors for successful implementation in different regions.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering high-quality application releases for global markets
• Assessing product readiness for each regional market
• Prioritizing testing efforts and developing testing strategies
• Working closely with engineering teams to identify and resolve defects
• Collaborating with the Globalization team to drive continuous quality improvement
• Streamlining release cycles through automated, performance, and regression testing
• Ensuring strong quality assurance in support of business growth, particularly in generative AI

The ideal candidate will:

• Collaboratively drive and lead features to success
• Harmonize goals for product/design and time to market with high quality
• Strategically plan and direct service and client automation efforts
• Continuously assess and improve team productivity
• Mentor and develop quality engineers
• Encourage a quality-first mentality in agile products

Requirements:

• Proficient in Japanese (native) and English (business level)
• BS/MS in Engineering or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• 14+ years in quality engineering or software development, including 4+ years in engineering management
• Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills
• Experience working with developers in dynamic environments
• Knowledge of various testing methodologies
• Hands-on experience with cross-platform mobile app development (Android, iOS, etc.)
