Responsibilities For Site Reliability Engineer

  • Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of the Kubernetes platform for container orchestration
  • Partner with development teams to ensure applications are cloud-native and scalable
  • Perform day-to-day operational tasks such as upgrades and patching of the Kubernetes platform
  • Develop and implement CI/CD pipelines for application deployment on Kubernetes
  • Monitor platform and application health using Prometheus and Grafana
  • Solve platform issues and collaborate with development teams
  • Contribute to upstream CNCF projects

Requirements For Site Reliability Engineer

  • BS Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working with Kubernetes
  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator and/or Developer certifications encouraged
  • Strong software development skills in Python, Node.js, Go, or similar languages
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms
  • Understanding of cloud network architectures
  • Solid understanding of time-series monitoring tools
  • Familiarity with 12-factor principles and software development lifecycle
  • Experience with GitOps, ArgoCD, and Helm
  • Excellent communication skills
