Adobe is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer with 6 to 8 or more years of DevOps/Site Reliability Engineering experience in Production Environment, supporting complex, highly available applications. The role involves supporting and maintaining the global application production environment with a focus on continuous automation, installing and configuring applications, maintaining production monitoring systems, solving performance and stability issues, and responding to on-call incidents. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Linux, DevOps methodologies, and experience with tools like Docker, Git, AWS, and other cloud platforms. Key responsibilities include automating build and release processes, setting up monitoring/logging systems, and working with configuration management tools. The role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to rapidly learn new technologies.
Responsibilities For Site Reliability Engineer
- Support and maintain the global application production environment with focus on continuous automation
- Install, configure, and upgrade custom and packaged applications
- Maintain production monitoring systems
- Solve performance and stability issues
- Respond to on-call (24/7 rotating shifts) incidents
- Provide technical assistance and support
- Automate build and release processes
- Set up monitoring/logging systems and tools
- Work with configuration management tools
Requirements For Site Reliability Engineer
- 6 to 8 or more years of DevOps/Site Reliability Engineering experience on Production Environment
- Good understanding of Operating System concepts, mainly Linux
- Experience with Docker, Git, Amazon Web Services
- Knowledge of orchestration tools like Apache Mesos/Kubernetes
- Hands-on scripting experience in Python, Ruby, Perl, or similar languages
- Experience with monitoring/logging systems like Prometheus, NewRelic, Splunk, Graphana
- Familiarity with configuration management tools like Chef/Ansible
- Experience in build and release process, tools like Jenkins
- Experience in working on managed DBs e.g RDS, Dynamo DB
- Sound written and verbal communication skills
