As a Software Engineer in Developer Experience, you'll be at the forefront of improving developer productivity and satisfaction across Adobe. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, with at least 6 years of experience in relevant technologies such as C++, TypeScript, Bazel, Buck2, and CMake. You should be comfortable with software engineering fundamentals like code review, automated testing, and CI/CD processes. A degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
This role offers a competitive salary range of $124,000 to $234,200 annually, with the potential for long-term incentives through a new hire equity award. Responsibilities For Software Engineer, Developer Experience
- Develop tools for rolling out technical changes across the codebases for Adobe's products
- Engage directly with high-value projects to help move them toward more consistent platforms and modern tools
- Work with partner teams across Adobe to help them improve their engineering environments and processes
- Help codify and expand Adobe best practices, associated courses, and new hire training
- Work directly with technical systems across Adobe to address strategic roadblocks that impede adoption of modern tools or practices
Requirements For Software Engineer, Developer Experience
- BS or MS in Computer Science or related field
- Strong communication skills
- Good emphasis on team collaboration
- Good ability to work with engineers and teams across Adobe on specific technical tasks
- A willingness to engage in grungy infrastructure work
- Understanding of software engineering fundamentals, e.g., code review, automated testing, CI/CD, etc.
- 6+ years of experience in a variety of technologies and programming languages, especially C++, TypeScript, Bazel, Buck2, and/or CMake
