Adobe is seeking a Senior Director of Engineering to lead their Engineering and Data Operations organization for Adobe Express. This key leadership role will be responsible for driving the architecture and execution of critical engineering infrastructure, including CI/CD platforms, experimentation frameworks, and developer tools. The position requires a technology leader who can manage a team of 100+ engineers while setting technical standards and driving engineering productivity.
The role combines technical leadership with strategic vision, requiring deep expertise in cloud platforms, DevOps practices, and data operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with enterprise-scale services, demonstrated leadership in high-growth environments, and a strong understanding of modern development practices including CI/CD, experimentation platforms, and data pipelines.
Key responsibilities include creating and executing strategies for self-service platforms, establishing engineering standards, and driving data quality initiatives. The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $197,700 to $416,600 annually, plus additional benefits including equity awards and annual incentives.

Responsibilities For Sr. Director, Engineering
- Lead multiple teams responsible for engineering infrastructure, including CI/CD and Experimentation Platforms
- Drive architecture, execution and delivery of CI/CD Platforms, Developer Tools, and Delivery Pipelines
- Lead and develop a 100+ engineering and data team
- Create strategy for building enterprise-scale experimentation platform
- Set standards around patterns, frameworks, technologies, and processes
- Establish and track benchmark KPIs and SLAs
- Drive data quality across product vertical and business areas
Requirements For Sr. Director, Engineering
- Demonstrated leadership experience in high growth environments
- Experience designing and managing large scale complex development frameworks
- Solid understanding of statistics, data science, and large-scale data processing
- Experience with A/B testing infrastructure
- Deep working experience on public cloud (Azure/AWS)
- Understanding of build and deployment systems
- Experience with performance engineering and load testing
