Description For Sr. Director, ML & Engineering

Adobe is seeking a Senior Director of ML & Engineering to lead their Search, Discovery and Content Intelligence (SDC) technology initiatives. This role is crucial in powering AI-powered Search, Browse, Recommendations, RAG assistive workflow capabilities, and conversational agents across Adobe's flagship products including Adobe Express, Stock, Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, Acrobat, and Adobe.com.

The position focuses on developing innovative AI-powered experiences using generative AI technologies across all modalities, including text, image, videos, to improve creative efficiency for creators, marketers, and designers. The team leverages and fine-tunes LLMs, vLLMs, transformers, vector search and RAG, transformer relevance models, and neural agents to build their state-of-the-art technology stack.

As a Senior Director, you will lead a large team of managers, applied machine learning scientists, data scientists, and search engineers while collaborating with partner teams, PM, Research, and other applied research leaders across Adobe. The role requires deep domain expertise in information retrieval, recommender systems, query understanding, intent AI, LLMs, relevance AI, and multimedia content understanding.
