Adobe's 3D & Immersive organization is seeking a creative and highly motivated Sr. Software Engineer/Build Architect to work on the next generation of Adobe's Substance 3D Platform and Applications. As a Sr. Software Engineer/Build Architect, you will be responsible for the architecture and success of platform and application builds. Your duties will include:
- Managing the architecture and success of platform and application builds
- Performing root cause analysis for build failures across the platform
- Managing library dependencies across various platform components and applications
- Collaborating closely with engineering teams to solve issues and improve the efficiency of build processes and systems
- Driving adoption of new build technologies and contributing to the continuous increase of technical knowledge across engineering teams
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- 8-10+ years of experience in Software Engineering or Development Operations
- Deep experience with development and building of C/C++ applications under Linux, Windows, and MacOS platforms (CMake)
- Strong understanding of and experience with dependency management
- Knowledge of modern, continuous development techniques and pipelines (Jenkins, Git)
- Experience with scripting languages (Python)
- Strong investigative and troubleshooting mentality
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent, Master's Degree preferred
