Description For Staff Data Science Engineer

Adobe is seeking a Staff Data Scientist to improve the adoption and utilization of all their Experience Cloud products. This high-impact, high-visibility role is part of the Product and Customer Analytics team, using data science to quantify and optimize the product experience for customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, great communication skills, and project management abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze data to measure changes in user engagement, driving customer growth and retention
  • Work with causal inference and machine learning experts to measure impacts of new product features and user engagement programs
  • Drive in-product personalization
  • Collaborate with data engineers to automate data pipelines and scale experimentation and user analytics
  • Build relationships across the Experience Cloud business unit to promote team capabilities and tools

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of work experience in data science or related field
  • Experience with building and deploying Machine Learning models on platforms like Databricks
  • Strong understanding of Statistics & Hypothesis Testing
  • Proficiency in Python (pandas, scikit-learn) and/or R (dplyr, ggplot2)
  • Experience with SQL and big data processing
  • Ability to translate analysis results into insights and business recommendations
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to work in ambiguous environments

The compensation range reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, with a range of $140,200 - $267,600 annually, varying based on job-related factors.
