Adverity is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join their team in a role that can be performed remotely in Europe or from offices in Vienna, London, Katowice, or Sofia. The position focuses on driving the design, implementation, and optimization of critical infrastructure to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance across the platform. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing cloud architecture, maintaining automated platform services, and implementing security best practices. The ideal candidate should have 3-5 years of experience with strong knowledge in cloud environments, Linux, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. Responsibilities For Senior Platform Engineer
- Collaborate in cross-functional teams dedicated to critical components of the Adverity platform
- Take ownership of internal development and delivery infrastructure
- Manage and maintain production and development environments
- Design, provision, monitor, and optimize scalable cloud architecture
- Maintain an automated foundation of platform services
- Ensure platform security by implementing best practices
- Act as an ambassador for technical services
- Identify and implement opportunities for technical improvement
- Analyze complex systems to identify bottlenecks and optimize performance
- Engage with engineers and leadership to share knowledge
Requirements For Senior Platform Engineer
- 3-5 years of relevant professional working experience
- Solid understanding of cloud hosting environments (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Strong Linux operating system affinity
- Experience with Terraform configurations
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, GitOps (ArgoCD), and artifactories
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Jenkins
- Knowledge of database systems, especially PostgreSQL
- Ability to take full ownership of domain
- Experience translating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills
