Senior Front End Engineer

Aera Technology, a pioneer in Decision Intelligence, is seeking a Senior Front End Engineer to join their R&D Engineering team. This role offers an opportunity to work on a cutting-edge enterprise cloud platform in a start-up atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop new features and components for existing web applications
• Build reusable code and libraries
• Collaborate with PM and UX designers on UI/UX feasibility
• Optimize applications for speed and scalability
• Research and implement latest JavaScript frameworks
• Collaborate across teams and geographies
• Create and execute unit tests and contribute to test automation
• Participate in design and code reviews

Requirements:

• Passion for UI/UX with proven track record
• Experience with HTML, CSS, HTML5, OO JavaScript, and modern frameworks (ReactJS, Polymer, VueJS, ExtJS/Sencha)
• Proficiency in NodeJS, Browserify, Babelify, Gulp, Bower
• Ability to write responsive UI code
• Strong Computer Science fundamentals
• Experience with Java and REST API (preferred)
• Cloud services experience (microservices a plus)
• Collaborative mindset and ability to coach others
• Positive energy and enthusiasm
• Highly organized with a professional attitude
