Senior Release Engineer

As a Senior Release Engineer, you will work closely with development and operations teams to ensure fast and predictive releases. You'll be responsible for release tracking, planning, and coordinating the release management lifecycle across multiple applications and modules of the Aera Platform.

Key responsibilities include:

• Scheduling, managing, and coordinating releases across multiple applications and projects
• Creating release plans and constructing a centralized release calendar
• Managing risks and resolving issues related to release quality and schedule
• Enforcing DevOps policies and engineering best practices
• Monitoring the release process and collecting feedback for improvements
• Working with different teams to enhance software engineering practices

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience as a Release Engineer
• Background in computer science with advanced knowledge of the software development lifecycle
• Strong technical skills in branching strategy, DevOps, CI/CD
• Knowledge of tools like Git, Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, AWS CloudFormation, and GitHub Actions
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
