Senior Software Engineer (Furnishing Platform)

Affirm is seeking a highly motivated Senior Software Engineer for their Furnishing Platform team to build scalable systems and data pipelines powering consumer credit reporting. This role involves close collaboration with Product, Compliance, Servicing, and Credit teams to design robust reporting systems crucial for delivering accurate and timely data from Affirm's financial product portfolio to Consumer Reporting Agencies. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience in developing web applications using React or Vue, proficiency in Javascript/Typescript, and experience with distributed systems using AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes. The role offers the opportunity to work on vital systems that enable Affirm to scale its products and further its mission of providing honest financial products. Key responsibilities include owning and delivering quarterly goals, leading engineers through ambiguous problems, supporting the product development lifecycle, identifying and solving technical issues, fostering a culture of quality and ownership, and developing talent within the team.
