Data Engineer

Ageras is seeking a Data Engineer to join their Data Platform team in Copenhagen. As a key player in the FinTech space, Ageras is revolutionizing how entrepreneurs manage their banking and administrative tasks. The Data department is organized into three specialized squads: Data Analytics, Data Modeling, and Data Platform.

The role involves working with cutting-edge technologies including Python, AWS, Snowflake, Meltano, Terraform, Dagster, and dbt for data modeling. As a Data Engineer, you'll be crucial in scaling and optimizing Ageras' data infrastructure, creating efficient systems to support analytics, machine learning, and data-driven decision-making.

The position requires 3+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles, with strong proficiency in Python and SQL. You'll be working on building and optimizing scalable data pipelines, designing ETL processes, and contributing to data architecture design. The ideal candidate should be familiar with cloud platforms, infrastructure as code tools, and data orchestration frameworks.

The role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on building efficient, robust systems. You'll be part of a team of four data engineers and an engineering manager, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful, data-driven solutions.

The recruitment process consists of three stages: an introductory call with the Talent Acquisition Specialist, a technical discussion with the Lead Analytics Engineer, and a technical case study presentation followed by a team meeting.
