The position involves architecting and building data-centric services for their Data-first Agreement Platform (DAP).

As a Staff Data Architect Engineer, you'll be instrumental in designing and implementing data models, databases, and data-centric services that power their contract management platform. You'll work with both SQL and NoSQL databases, build data lakes, and create analytic services to support reporting and AI capabilities. The role requires expertise in cloud-based data pipelines and architecture patterns that optimize performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.

Responsibilities For Staff Data Architect Engineer

  • Work with cross-functional agile team to architect, build, maintain and optimize data models and services
  • Build and optimize data models using SQL and NoSQL database technology
  • Design and build data lakes and analytic data services
  • Architect cloud-based data pipelines and data services
  • Contribute to quality assurance and performance testing solutions
  • Troubleshoot complex data and query performance issues
  • Mentor team members on data architecture topics
  • Design data access patterns for high performance and reliability

Requirements For Staff Data Architect Engineer

Python
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience as a data architect and data engineer
  • Experience building modern, cloud-native applications using cloud hosted databases
  • Experience building data centric applications and tools in Python
  • Strong problem-solving, collaboration, teamwork and communication skills
  • Deep understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Experience with ETL data pipelines
  • Knowledge of change management methodologies for data schemas
  • Proficiency with version control systems (Git)
  • Experience with CI/CD tools
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
