Responsibilities For Staff DevOps Engineer

  • Architect and implement highly available, scalable systems using industry standard tools
  • Define and enforce best practices for CI/CD, IaC, and automation
  • Design and implement advanced security measures, including identity and access management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and guide DevOps initiatives
  • Conduct performance analysis and optimization for complex systems
  • Lead major infrastructure migrations and upgrades
  • Develop and maintain documentation and standards
  • Participate in on-call rotation

Requirements For Staff DevOps Engineer

Kubernetes
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 7+ years of related experience
  • Expertise in DevOps principles, AWS and Terraform or other IaC
  • Advanced knowledge of Linux operating systems
  • Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, etc.)
  • Advanced knowledge of Python, Bash or Ruby
  • Deep understanding of networking concepts
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Gitlab CI/CD, Github)
  • Expertise with containerization and cloud platforms
  • Superior problem-solving and communication skills
  • Experience in security best practices
  • AWS certifications (preferred)
  • Knowledge of AWS Security Architecture (preferred)
  • Knowledge of Agile methodology (preferred)
