Responsibilities For Desktop Support Engineer

  • Serve as point of contact for users seeking technical assistance, both in-person and remotely
  • Process and respond to incoming tickets for incident resolution
  • Troubleshoot Windows and macOS laptops
  • Provide support for Microsoft 365 desktop and web applications
  • Support cloud applications and productivity tools
  • Maintain office technology including copiers, printers, wireless, Audio/Video Conferencing
  • Assist with user account management and password resets
  • Create and maintain knowledge management documentation

Requirements For Desktop Support Engineer

Linux
  • 3 - 5+ years in a desktop support role
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365, Windows 10, macOS, iOS and Android devices
  • Experience with ServiceNow or JIRA
  • Experience with Mobile Device Management tools (Intune and JAMF)
  • Knowledge of teleconferencing systems (Webex and Microsoft Teams)
  • Infrastructure troubleshooting skills (wireless, TCP/IP, DNS)
  • Must be able to be onsite in the office 5 days per week
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
