Senior Associate Data Engineer

AHEAD is seeking a Senior Associate Data Engineer to join their dynamic project teams, working both on-site and remotely. This role, internally known as a Sr Associate Technical Consultant, will be responsible for hands-on engineering of Data platforms supporting advanced analytics, data science, and other data engineering initiatives. The ideal candidate will build and support modern data environments in public cloud or multi-cloud enterprise architectures.

Key responsibilities include:

• Building, operationalizing, and monitoring data processing systems
• Creating robust, automated pipelines for data ingestion and processing
• Implementing custom applications using cloud-native tools
• Engineering and supporting various data structures, including SQL and NoSQL databases
• Maintaining ELT processes for data lake loading
• Troubleshooting and resolving challenges
• Collaborating with scrum team members

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of professional technical experience
• 2+ years of hands-on Data Architecture and Data Modelling
• 2+ years building scalable data solutions using Hadoop, Spark, Databricks, Snowflake
• 2+ years of Python programming
• 1+ years of experience in cloud environments (AWS and/or Azure)
• Strong client-facing communication and facilitation skills
