Data Engineer - DWH

For our valued client in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced Data Warehouse Engineer.

What awaits you:

• Development of innovative data warehouse solutions with modern Microsoft technologies
• Creation of scalable data models for our data warehouse and data marts
• Comprehensive involvement in all phases of data warehouse development (from SSIS to T-SQL to SSAS)
• Support of data analysis through close collaboration with various departments to optimize data-driven decisions
• Active participation in our exciting transition from on-premises solutions to the Azure cloud

What we expect:

• You have a completed degree in business informatics or a comparable qualification.
• You have at least five years of experience in data warehouse/business intelligence, ideally from large companies, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry.
• You possess in-depth knowledge of Microsoft technologies (SSIS, T-SQL, SSAS)
• You have several years of experience in data modeling (e.g., knowledge of Kimball and Data Vault is an advantage).
• You already have knowledge of the Microsoft Azure platform or are willing to further educate yourself and expand this knowledge.
• You speak fluent German and have good English skills.
