Engineering Manager, Marketing Technology

Airbnb, founded in 2007, has grown to over 4 million Hosts welcoming more than 1 billion guest arrivals globally. The Marketing Technology (MarTech) team is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a team building a no-code or low-code platform for content authoring and publishing across various channels.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing a full-stack team of frontend web and backend engineers
• Leading the vision and technical direction of the content platform
• Collaborating with cross-functional partners in product, creative, and marketing
• Attracting top talent and mentoring team members
• Ensuring technical quality from design to production

The ideal candidate will have:

• 3-5+ years of experience managing an engineering team
• 9+ years of relevant software development experience
• Hands-on experience in Frontend Web Development
• Experience with designing and architecting large-scale distributed web applications
• Strong communication skills and ability to work across teams
• Passion for technical quality, efficiency, and operational excellence
• Experience with modern web technologies like React and TypeScript

This US-remote position offers a competitive salary range of $204,000 - $259,000 USD, along with potential bonuses, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
